A Birdcage, also House in a Landscape, is a work by Welsh artist Gwen John (1876 - 1939). It's one house and cottage oil on canvas painting. The painting is owned by the museum of Amgueddfa Cymru - Cardiff, one of the museums with the most Gwen John works, and is accessible to the general public. Gwen Johnis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Gwen John was influenced by Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about portrait and figure and tableau.
