A Japanese Lantern

A Japanese Lantern is a work by Norwegian artist Oda Krohg (1860 - 1935). It's one figure and tableau painting created in 1886. The painting is owned by the museum of Nasjonalmuseet for Kunst, Arkitektur og Design - Oslo, one of the museums with the most Oda Krohg works, and is accessible to the general public. Oda Krohgis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Oda Krohg was influenced by Neo-Romanticism, and made most paintings about portrait and figure and tableau.
