Casting the Net

Casting the Net is one of the most famous paintings by French artist Suzanne Valadon (1865 - 1938). It's one nude oil on canvas painting created in 1914. The painting is owned by the museum of Centre Pompidou - Musée National d'Art Moderne, one of the museums with the most Suzanne Valadon works, and is accessible to the general public. Suzanne Valadonis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Suzanne Valadon was influenced by Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about still life and nude.
