Flatford Mill

Flatford Mill is a work by New Zealander artist Frances Hodgkins (1869 - 1947). It's one cityscape oil on canvas painting created in 1930. The painting is owned by the museum of Tate Britain - London, and is accessible to the general public. Frances Hodgkinsis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Frances Hodgkins was influenced by Post-Impressionism and Expressionism, and made most paintings about still life and figure and tableau.
