The Light of the World

The Light of the World is one of the most famous paintings by British artist William Holman Hunt (1827 - 1910). It's one figure and tableau oil on canvas painting created in 1854. The painting is owned by the museum of University of Oxford - Keble College, and is accessible to the general public. William Holman Hunt was influenced by Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, Romanticism, and Symbolism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
