Yes. The only reason we collect information through our secure server is to process your order. We will never sell or give out any of your private information.

We wanted to make a website that only sells paintings made by hand. The letter "Z" sounds fantastic, and we hope to sell paintings quickly all over the world, get the prices as low as possible, and make a lot of them so that everyone can enjoy affordable, high-quality art.

No. We only sell online. This enables us to offer paintings cheaply while maintaining good quality. Our paintings cost four-five times more in galleries and showrooms. We have no middleman, no salesperson, and no overhead. Save money.

We don't publish pricey catalogs that become obsolete immediately. Our website is up and running 24/7/365. So, we don't publish a catalog.

Through our collaboration with studio artists, we avoided the involvement of any third parties. Increasing our sales is more important than increasing our profit margin since we think art should be available to everyone. And we don't use online ads to boost business either. We've been around for nearly a decade, and many of our clients have returned to us many times.

The most recent things to be added to the catalogs are folding screens and picture/mirror frames carved by hand from wood.

Yes. We ship to most places in the world, including the Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia. You can think of PaintingZ as a store near you where you can make your own art.

Because of our items' oversized nature, we cannot mail artwork to APO/FPO or PO Box addresses.

Between 2 and 3 weeks. It takes an artist one to two weeks to finish a painting and then another five to ten days to ship it to your address. Feel free to get in touch with us if you need it quickly. Paintings that are hard or complicated may take longer.

We ship anywhere in the world for free using express couriers, mostly DHL and FedEx. You only have to pay the prices you see.

Every single purchase needs a real, brick-and-mortar location for shipping and delivery. We are unable to ship to APO or PO Boxes at this time.

Yes. When it comes out, you'll be able to get a tracking code.

We take payments through the PayPal gateway. You don't have to have a PayPal account in order to pay. You will be redirected to a secure page on PayPal to process the payment, and we won't keep any of your payment information. PayPal is an international gateway that works with almost all credit and debit cards.

To go forward with the order, you will pay in full. Unfortunately, our website does not support down payments at this time.

However, you may contact us if you'd rather make a down payment. You may put down 30%–40% to start your painting and then pay the rest when you're satisfied with the finished version.

We take the security of your artwork very seriously. Orders are packaged with care by our shipping staff. We roll it up in a tube for art that doesn't have stretcher bars or a frame, or we lock it in a wooden crate for art that does.

You can ask for a full 100% refund within 30 days of receiving your order, starting from the date you received it.

We've seen that 98% of orders arrive without taxes. In the US, taxes and duties on handmade paintings (HS Code 6117.00.0000), whether framed or not, are usually zero. If you live outside the US, taxes and responsibilities are small and insignificant, ranging from zero to a few dozen dollars if they exist. 

Generally, you don't have to worry about it. Oil paintings on canvas created by hand are exempt from customs fees in the majority of nations. If you have any questions about the policies in your country, you should get in touch with your local customs office.

Absolutely! As soon as our artist finishes painting, you'll get a photo of the piece. Before we send out your order, we will ask you for one last OK.

No, your privacy is very important. Only art that has been given to us by customers is shown in our gallery. When you order a portrait, you'll be given the option to show off your art as a form of promotion. In exchange, you'll get a discount.

Prices for our paintings range from low to high, depending on canvas size and the number of people or animals depicted.

Portraits of people are notoriously difficult to paint because of how easily expressions may be lost or captured. Adding all of those finer details requires effort and expertise. We need to know how many people are shown in the artwork to assess its difficulty level and provide a fair price.

In addition, the cost will vary according to the portraitist you choose to hire.

If you have more than two photos or if they are too big or in a format that PaintingZ doesn't accept, you can still place your order and send us your pictures by replying to your order confirmation email.

Making sure you get the best painting possible is one of our top priorities. Our painters need a canvas or paper size of at least 3 by 3 inches in order to paint faces. When an artist attempts to depict several themes on a canvas of a smaller size, they are unable to do it in a clear manner due to a lack of space.

The quality of the artwork we provide to you is of the utmost importance to us. To do justice to a face, our painters need a minimum of 4x4 inches on canvas and 3x3 inches on paper. No artist here has the resources to create a convincing portrait if the canvas or paper is any smaller than 8x10 inches.

In a word, yes! You may leave any comments for our artist's reference at the time of order. We welcome you to include a picture if you want. Please get in touch with us for a price for complicated contexts where you cannot predict the number of subjects.

Our graphic designers have the tools to apply any desired digital effects to your images. In addition to enhancing colors, combining many photographs into one, and removing unwanted elements from the background, we can do much more! Thanks to our fantastic editing staff, we can accommodate almost every revision request.

We're happy to work with practically any image format and can alter photographs in any way you can imagine. We have skilled graphic designers that can quickly and simply create a painting from a series of images you provide. 

Make sure to provide specific comments on how you'd want the figurines to be positioned, your vision, and so on. Alternatively, you may let our graphic designers figure out what would work best for you.

After receiving your photographs, our graphic designers will edit and integrate them according to your specifications or industry standards, and then give them back to you for final approval. 

After you give the digital prototype the thumbs up, the artist will go to work on the real thing.

Almost every picture can be fixed or enhanced. If your photo is of such poor quality that our artist is unable to create a portrait from it, we will not be able to repair it. We need a picture swap or would gladly provide a complete refund.

After you place an order with us, any photos that need fixing will be fixed before we even begin working on your order. To have a black-and-white image colored, request it during purchase.

Please remember that the more information you provide our editors, the better they can colorize the photo. Before we begin painting, we'll email you a colorized picture version for your review. This service is provided at no additional cost to you.

You may provide specific instructions for the digital improvement of your picture in the remark box that appears throughout the ordering process. Whatever picture adjustments you need, our designers can do them. We may alter the hues, combine many pictures into one, alter the backdrop, insert or remove elements, and much more! Thanks to our fantastic editing staff, we can accommodate almost every revision request. Moreover, there will be no additional expense to you.

Depending on how involved your artwork revision request is, it might take anywhere from 1 to 3 days to get a revised version (s). Given that the final artwork is created by hand, we take extra care while making any modifications to it.

Yes. By default, we show a high-resolution photo preview before shipping, so you get exactly what you see. You can ask for free changes until you're completely happy or have a different artist redo it.

Depending on your request's complexity, art changes can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days. We always try to be as careful as we can when making changes to the finished artwork since it was made by hand, and changing every detail takes a lot of care.

Yes. Your painting will be made by hand on canvas, brush by brush. PaintingZ works with professional studio artists.

Yes, we can frame it for you! On the page for an item, you can choose a frame. You can choose from many different styles. You can even order a luxury wooden carving frame from our collection, usually preferred by museums. 

Yes. We have made, framed, and shipped paintings that are as tall as several meters.

Yes, we can use gold leaf for certain paintings, like Klimt's The Kiss or Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer.

Yes. All of our oil paintings on canvas are made by hand. You can see, touch, and feel the actual brushstrokes on each of our paintings. 

Please note that our paintings are NOT printed on canvas, print transfer, lithographs, or giclee.
